What is Ancestral Trauma?

Ancestral or generational trauma is an energetic imprint that is passed down through family lines. This means the unhealed or unresolved pain of our ancestors can live on in our bodies and subconscious, shaping our experiences and the choices we make today. Often one person in a generation is called to heal - to be the change marker. In healing their own pain, they also heal the pain of their ancestors as well as current and future generations. Could it be you?

Who is Dr Anthony? 

Dr Anthony Rafferty is a medical doctor with more than 20 years experience in academic and clinical research. He is also a shamanic, energetic and intuitive healer with a well-established practice in Ireland.

A shaman is a healer who walks between worlds, holding awareness in both the physical and unseen energetic and spiritual realms.

Rooted in ancient traditions, a shaman understands that true healing often begins in the unseen: the unresolved grief stored in the womb, the trauma carried in the nervous system, or the ancestral stories still echoing through the body.
